Strengths
Motion Applied, formerly McLaren Applied, announced in December 2025 that it would design and manufacture a custom inverter for the Cavorite X7 based on its MCU-X platform. The company also offers the MCU-200 air-cooled inverter for aerospace applications.

Weaknesses / Open Questions
The announcement describes development and intended integration. It does not establish production deliveries, an approved inverter, or aircraft certification. The custom X7 inverter should not be conflated with the separately marketed MCU-200.
