Strengths
Chery disclosed the Lingxiao programme at its October 2026 innovation conference. Aerospace reporting describes revealed uncrewed Q212 prototype testing; the manufacturer has publicly identified the larger J506 concept.
Weaknesses / Open Questions
The responsible aircraft certification entity, application status, approved specifications and development schedule require confirmation. Automotive approvals and manufacturing scale do not establish aircraft certification. J506 range should not be used to infer its energy source.
