Toulouse-based developer of the One / BYA-I hydrogen-electric business aircraft.
Propulsion Architecture
Gaseous-hydrogen fuel cells supply two electric propfans. The current One / BYA-I architecture uses externally mounted 700-bar storage; design claims are not certified capability.

Strengths
Beyond Aero reports completed Preliminary Design Review and wind-tunnel correlation work. Its published aircraft architecture integrates two aft electric propfans, a T-tail, externally mounted hydrogen tanks and fuel-cell power channels.
The company has flown its smaller Blériot demonstrator and developed full-scale propulsion test facilities. These provide development evidence; they do not establish first flight of the One production configuration.
Weaknesses / Open Questions
The One remains in detailed design and verification development. EASA pre-application engagement and a progressing Design Organisation Approval application are not an issued aircraft Type Certificate or DOA.
Remaining work includes integrated-aircraft verification, thermal management, hydrogen fault containment, conforming flight testing, production readiness and airport refuelling. Published range, speed and cost figures are manufacturer targets. Binding order quantities and comparable equity-funding totals are not established here.
