Dual-track electric-aircraft developer advancing the Part 23 CX300 ahead of the powered-lift A250, with a common motor, battery and flight-control technology base.

Propulsion Architecture
Lift+cruise: four dedicated lift propellers plus one fixed pusher propeller for cruise (lift rotors stop in forward flight). Shared power system across the CX300 (fixed-wing) and ALIA-250 (eVTOL) variants.
Primary Certification Context
Mixed / Multiple Programs
Strengths
In Q2 2026 BETA reported FAA acceptance of the CX300's complete set of compliance requirements, closing its Requirements Definition phase. The CTOL-first sequence uses an established Part 23 airplane pathway while carrying common propulsion and systems work into the A250 program. BETA also operates a growing interoperable charging network.
Weaknesses / Open Questions
Neither CX300 nor A250 holds an FAA type certificate. The A250 follows the CX300 in BETA's certification sequence, and its timing remains dependent on progress through the common propulsion platform and powered-lift compliance work.
