Strengths
Ascendance began final assembly of the full-scale ATEA in early 2026, with the composite airframe from Duqueine and more than 500 hours of propulsion bench testing reported. It targets a piloted first flight in 2026 and certification in 2029, and announced a hybrid-electric propulsion partnership with ATR at Farnborough 2026.
