MOC SC-VTOL Issue 2 is EASA's published means-of-compliance material for the SC-VTOL certification framework. It translates high-level special-condition requirements into accepted compliance approaches and supporting specifications.
SC-VTOL tells an applicant what safety and airworthiness outcomes must be achieved; the MOC material is where many of the practical compliance expectations become clearer.
EASA's consolidated small-category VTOL material links electric/hybrid lift-thrust units to SC E-19 as an accepted specification in relevant areas, showing how aircraft-level VTOL requirements and propulsion-system standards interact.
