F3814-26 addresses light-sport aircraft electrical systems outside the primary propulsion-energy function. It should not be presented as the general traction-power or battery standard for an electric aircraft.
For powered-lift compliance, read it with the integration standard and the FAA's accepted functional-standard table. Propulsion and electrical-energy-storage requirements have separate document scopes.
