Heart's full-scale X1 battery-electric demonstrator completed a 27-minute first flight on 12 August 2026 under an FAA Experimental-category special airworthiness certificate. Heart states that X1 is representative of the ES-30 program; the ES-30 itself remains a 30-seat hybrid-electric product in FAA Part 25 certification development, with 2031 type certification targeted by the company.
