Technology demonstrator in ground test. Earlier TD 1.0 hover and subscale transition results do not establish TD 2.0 flight.
Ground-test readiness followed by first flight; Q2 2027 is the current company target.
TD 2.0 is Zuri’s uncrewed hybrid-electric technology demonstrator. The current manufacturer page gives a 9.7 m wingspan and 690 kg maximum takeoff weight. Development figures remain under validation.
Eight rotors tilt between intended vertical lift and forward propulsion. A generator and battery feed electric drives. The representative 3D model follows official overhead and structural imagery; exact component placement, blade geometry and aerodynamic surfaces remain approximate.
Zuri reports systems integration and ground testing. The current first-flight target is Q2 2027. Earlier TD 1.0 full-scale hover and subscale transition are separate aircraft records. The full-size display aircraft is non-flying.
TD 2.0 is a proving aircraft rather than an offered passenger product. Zuri’s planned cargo aircraft and longer-term passenger concept have separate specifications and approval pathways.
Loaded hybrid-powertrain tests, cooling, tilt actuation, control integration and envelope expansion precede usable flight performance. No TD 2.0 operating approval or aircraft Type Certificate is established by the reviewed manufacturer evidence.
